We are looking for a Scenario Planner to strengthen our organization’s strategic foresight, future-oriented thinking, and decision-making capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing alternative future scenarios, analyzing changes in the operating environment, and supporting leadership and stakeholders in conditions of uncertainty. The Scenario Planner helps the organization identify key drivers of change, assess their impact on the business, and create practical response models for different future developments.
This position combines analytical thinking, a research-driven mindset, facilitation skills, and the ability to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations. You will work closely with leadership, business units, research and development teams, and external partners. You will gather and interpret information related to markets, technology, regulation, social trends, and customer behavior, and use it to build credible, challenging, and decision-supporting scenarios.
The work of a Scenario Planner is not limited to analysis alone. It also includes designing and facilitating workshops, supporting strategic discussions, and integrating scenarios into the organization’s planning and development processes. To succeed in this role, you should be able to understand broad systems, identify weak signals, and construct alternative perspectives that help the organization prepare for change in a timely way. We value the ability to present findings convincingly, both in writing and verbally, to different audiences.
We offer an opportunity to work in an influential role where you can contribute directly to long-term organizational planning and the development of future competitiveness. You will have access to an expert network, a multidisciplinary work environment, and the opportunity to develop foresight methods in practice. This role is well suited to someone who is energized by structuring uncertainty, thinking strategically, and turning future possibilities into concrete support for decision-making.
We expect you to bring initiative, curiosity, and the ability to combine qualitative and quantitative information. We value experience in scenario work, strategic foresight, research, consulting, or business development. If you want to help an organization see further ahead, make better decisions, and build sustainable success in a changing world, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
